Benjamin Sesko: Man United new boy makes telling contribution for Slovenia

Manchester United’s new signing Benjamin Šeško has struggled to make a major impact at Old Trafford so far, Crown88 notes. There were positives against Grimsby Town, where he was unlucky not to score, and he’s come off the bench in all three Premier League matches this season, hoping to earn a first start after the international break.

Benjamin Šeško

The 22-year-old played the full 90 in Slovenia’s 2–2 World Cup qualifier against Sweden, delivering a last-second assist for Žan Vipotnik by outmuscling two defenders and heading the ball into his path for the equaliser. Šeško didn’t register a shot, completed 15/19 passes, hit his only cross accurately, won his only aerial duel, and went 2/6 in ground duels. Slovenia next visit Switzerland on Monday, Crown88 adds.

Rasmus Højlund

Now on loan at SSC Napoli, Højlund began Denmark’s match versus Scotland on the bench, came on in the 74th minute, and fired one shot off target. From seven touches he completed two passes, won his lone ground duel, and lost three of four aerial contests. Patrick Dorgu was an unused substitute; both aim for more minutes away to Greece on Monday.

Amad

Amad started and played 67 minutes in the Ivory Coast’s 1–0 win over Burundi, picked up a yellow card, and was replaced by Nicolas Pépé. The Ivorians face Gabon on Tuesday, according to Crown88.
