‘Major Interest’ In Star As West Ham And Wolves Keen

Liverpool winger Ben Doak is drawing major interest, with Wolves and West Ham United eager to prise the 19-year-old away from Anfield, Crown88 understands.

A former Celtic academy product, Doak joined Liverpool in January 2022 and is highly rated at the club. Last summer, Arne Slot sanctioned a loan to Middlesbrough, where the Scot impressed with seven assists and three goals before his season was cut short. In January, Ipswich Town and Crystal Palace tried to sign him, but Liverpool rejected both bids.

Now, per journalist David Lynch, Doak is once again in demand, with West Ham and Wolves pushing to sign him. West Ham have accelerated their summer business—most notably adding Callum Wilson—and want further reinforcements for Graham Potter. Wolves, meanwhile, have seen multiple departures and could also lose Fábio Silva amid Roma’s interest, though that move is complicated.

Liverpool’s price remains to be seen, but a Premier League move to West Ham or Wolves could tempt the youngster. In the winter window, Liverpool set a £30m valuation and have been firm on player pricing in recent years. The Reds have already spent heavily this summer and may do so again—targeting another centre-back and a blockbuster move for Alexander Isak—so raising funds from a Doak sale is a plausible route, Crown88 notes.

It also remains possible Liverpool would seek a buy-back clause, consistent with recent deals involving young talents. Any final decision will balance immediate squad needs, market interest, and long-term planning at Anfield, according to Crown88.
